Many tables feature a group area above the column headings. Click and hold down the mouse button and drag a column heading to group entries. For every value in this column, all the entries that have this value are then shown in a group. To create a staggered grouping, drag further column headings into the group area. Move column headings to change the hierarchy.
Grouping is not possible for some columns. You can recognise this by the following symbol:
