Projects

WINPACCS focuses on project work in development cooperation. Many activities within WINPACCS Cloud are therefore performed at the level of individual projects. Certain settings and objects are managed organisation-wide (e.g. users, donors, partners, the main chart of accounts or cross-project settings and interfaces). However, for many other things, especially transaction data such as postings and closings, budgets, reports, etc., you usually have to open a project first. Within this project, many other functions are available that refer to the data of this project.

Project overview

This table shows all the projects that have been assigned to you under User administration. Double-click on a project in the table to open it. Use the table settings to change the display and show more columns. All the Project master data fields are available as a column.

Opens the Project master data functional group, to allow you to enter the master data for a new project.

Display

Display

Opens the project and shows which functional groups of the project are available.

Publish

Publish

Publishes the project data of all the projects, i.e. they are then available for automatic or manual downloading in WINPACCS Accounting and WINPACCS Cashbook. This can be useful if you change settings that affect all projects, for example, for posting to external projects. Publishing all the project data may take some time. You can continue working with the application while this is being completed.

If you do not need the project data of all the projects in a new version, open the desired project and publish its project data individually.

NOTE: This function is only available if you have one of the following user roles:

Project controller

Project administrator

Project assistant

Print

Print

Creates a PDF document from the Projects overview. The selected table settings such as filters, sortings and groupings, as well as additional columns, are applied.

Export

Export

Exports the project list. You can choose between either the PDF or Excel format. Table settings such as filters, sortings and groupings as well as additional columns are taken into account.
