Activate the setting Restrict the selection of accounts for costs and income to reduce the available main accounts in the journal category. By excluding irrelevant accounts, you eliminate sources of error.

You can block cost and income accounts in the following account classes:

▪Costs

▪Income

▪Balance (assets)

If you block main accounts via a journal category, the corresponding accounts and sub-accounts from the project chart of accounts are not available when posting in WINPACCS Accounting In this way, you can deactivate accounts for certain journals without having to make settings in several project charts of accounts. Another advantage is that other journals in the same projects can continue to post to these accounts if their journal category allows this.
