Confidential personnel costs

Generally speaking, employees are not allowed to see salary postings and other personnel costs. You can therefore mark these postings in WINPACCS as confidential.

Usually, these personnel costs are posted in the Company accounting. You can import the postings into the Project controlling via an interface. If you mark certain accounts as confidential in the interface settings, only specially authorised users can see these postings in the Project controlling. To be able to plan and evaluate these personnel costs confidentially, you can also create confidential budgets in the Project controlling.

Confidential journals are also available if confidential costs are to be posted in WINPACCS Accounting and optionally in WINPACCS Cashbook. All the postings from journals like this and the journals themselves are only visible to users who are allowed to view confidential data.

In the case of postings from the Company accounting, whether postings are confidential or non-confidential is determined by the account. In the Project accounting the journal type determines this.

Users who are not allowed to view confidential data cannot see confidential postings, budgets and journals, nor can they see which employees have access to them.
