In order to be able to handle personnel costs that are posted in the Company accounting in a confidential manner in WINPACCS Cloud, you must configure the interface for this.

The journal settings in WINPACCS control which postings from WINPACCS Accounting are confidential. All the postings in confidential journals are marked as confidential, and all the postings in non-confidential journals are not confidential. Postings that are imported from the Company accounting via the interface are always all kept in a journal of the Company accounting journal class. However, to ensure that you can still distinguish between confidential and non-confidential postings from the Company accounting, you can mark certain accounts as confidential in the main chart of accounts. As a result, the postings from Company accounting that are assigned to these accounts are marked as confidential. In the journal of the Company accounting journal class both confidential and non-confidential postings may be available. Users who are not allowed to see confidential data therefore only see some of the postings in this journal. To mark an account as confidential, activate the Postings to this account are confidential setting in the properties of the respective accounts at Company accounting > Account assignment > Main chart of accounts.
