Budgets

Budgets serve as a basis for target / actual analyses when reporting to donors or clients and for use in internal project controlling. You can draw up budgets based on cost categories, cost category groups or budget structures. To do this, click on New (New) or on (navigation area)Add in the Budgets section.

To edit the budget values of an existing budget, open the budget and use the Edit (Edit) function.

You can see all the settings of a budget in the configuration area by clicking on the Configuration (Detail) button. To change the settings of an existing budget, click in the respective section on Edit .

Once you have created a budget, you can Create an analysis which compares the budget with the corresponding expenditure.

Overview

The content area includes an overview of the budget in the opened project. Confidential budgets are only displayed to users who are allowed to view confidential data (user-specific setting in the User administration). Use the table settings to show additional columns. To display archived budgets, activate the Quick filter (ShowArchived).

The columns of the overview are in the New budget chapter.

A wizard appears that helps you to create a new budget. You can change some settings later in the configuration area at ConfigurationDetail).

Display

Display

Opens the selected budget.

Print

Print

Creates a PDF document from the Budget overview. The selected table settings such as filters, sortings and groupings, as well as additional columns, are applied.

Export

Export

Exports the Budget overview in Excel-, PDF-, CSV- or RTF format. The selected table settings such as filters, sortings and groupings, as well as additional columns, are applied.
