For each project, you can create a journal of the Project accounting (costs from external projects) journal class. This journal class is available in projects of the Office, Project or Partner project project category. When you create such a journal, postings can be assigned to this project in certain external projects. This journal collects all the postings in WINPACCS Cloud that occur in other projects for this project and makes them available to the Project controlling. The journal is not available in WINPACCS Accounting.
The tab shows the basic data of the journal. Click on Save and Release to create the journal with the displayed master data. The data will be forwarded to WINPACCS Accounting when you publish the project.
You cannot edit the master data of journals of this journal class.
Journal number |
Displays the three-digit identifier for journals of this journal class. This journal number is set in the Organisational settings. |

The name of a journal of this journal class is always Costs from external projects. |
Journal class |
Shows the journal class Project accounting (costs from external projects). |
Voucher type |
Vouchers from external projects are always balance sheet effective. |
Accounting software |
You can only post to external projects in WINPACCS Accounting 4. |
Journals for costs from external projects collect all the postings that are entered for this project in other projects. Journals such as this may therefore contain entries in different currencies.
