WINPACCS Project controlling allows you to split posting positions. Splittings in Project controlling are independent of splittings in Project accounting and do not change the original posting data. Use these functions, for example, to distribute a voucher to different budget lines.
When you split a posting position, reporting positions arise. Specify at the beginning how many reporting positions are to be created. You can add or remove reporting positions later. You can then adjust the posting data of each individual reporting position (for example, sub-accounts, fundings, budget lines) and split the amount.
Save |
Saves the distribution and all the changes to the reporting positions. If necessary enter a reason. |
|
Cancel |
Discards all the changes and switches to the Display mode. |
|
Reporting position |
Use Add to add one or more reporting positions to a splitting. Use Delete to remove the reporting position that is selected (highlighted in blue) in the table below the posting data. You can only delete individual reporting positions. Reporting positions are always numbered consecutively. If you delete a reporting position, the subsequent reporting positions are renumbered. |
|
Split total amount |
Divides the amount evenly between all reporting positions. It is still possible to adjust the individual amounts. |
|
Reset posting position |
Undoes all changes to the posting position made by all users. The resetting is logged in the history. All previous changes remain logged. |
Digital vouchers |
If your organisation uses digital vouchers and there is a digital voucher for this posting position in the Postings functional group, it is displayed here. You can download digital vouchers. To update or upload digital vouchers from WINPACCS Accounting, go to the Postings functional group. You can directly upload digital vouchers for postings from other systems here. |
|
The history shows the history of all the changes to the opened posting position. All changes are numbered project-wide, that is, the changes to a posting position are not always numbered consecutively. The most recent change that was made is shown at the top. |

Notes |
If required, enter additional information on a posting position here. All the entries are automatically saved. |
If you split a posting position or edit a split posting position, the individual reporting positions are displayed in a table below the posting data. In the header of the table you see the following values:
▪Total amount: The amount of the original posting position that you split into reporting positions.
▪Already split: The portion of the total amount that is already assigned to reporting positions.
▪Remaining amount: The share of the total amount that has not yet been assigned to any reporting positions.
▪Left to be split (in %): The percentage of the total amount that has not yet been assigned to any reporting positions.
You cannot save the splitting until the total amount has been completely split. Then the following applies:
▪Total amount = Already split
▪Remaining amount = 0,00
▪Left to be split (in %) = 0,00
Edit the data of the reporting positions by changing them in the sections or directly in the table.
To do this, simply click in the field you want to edit:
You can customise the following fields for each reporting position. If you do not make any changes, the data of the original posting position is copied:
▪Recipient / Depositor / Partner
▪Posting text
▪Comment on the posting text
▪VC amount (only in the table)
▪Percent of total amount (only in the table)
▪Sub-account
▪Billed
▪Funding
▪Reporting period
▪Budget structure(s)
▪all numbers in the Additional information section
